QUALITY AND EDUCATION
Quality and Education Unit combines two activities.
Work to support the development of the quality of adult education comprises:
- development work to improve quality in various areas of adult education,
- the introduction of the OQEA (Offering Quality Education to Adults) self-evaluation model in the network of adult educators,
- the establishment of a network of counsellors for quality, and
- fostering quality work by professionals and organisations.
In the scope of education activities:
- we study the needs for training of adult educators,
- we develop numerous training programmes for adult educators, and
- we also implement those programmes. We provide free training to more than two hundred educators annually.
We are developing international cooperation in both areas with the aim of learning from one another and together contributing to the development of the activities described. We also publish Slovenian professional literature for these activities.
We participate in international project EuroPeerGuid.
