Objectives:
To improve inclusion of employees in training and education by ensuring access to guidance at the workplace.
Description:
Within the first international project Guidance in the Workplace 1 (2002-2004) innovative methods were developed to provide guidance to employees. It was shown that providing guidance at the workplace increases involvement in education and training. The project Guidance in the Workplace 2 involves a transfer of this knowledge and establishing appropriate support networks in new partner countries in order to ensure guidance for employees at the workplace. New partner organisations will first be provided with education and mentorship to support project implementation. Evaluation visits will be made to partner countries, and these will promote the transfer of knowledge among partners. This knowledge transfer should result in a support network being established in each country for providing guidance for employees. These networks will include employers, trade unions, education and training providers and guidance organisations.
