AIM
The main aim of this SIAE task is collaboration on systematic development and regulation of the field of verification and certification of national vocational qualifications and provision of training for members of commissions for verification and certification of national vocational qualifications.
OBJECTIVES
- Ensuring training for members of national vocational qualification commissions;
- Collaboration with the Ministry of Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities and other public institutes on further development of the system of national vocational qualifications.
DESCRIPTION
As part of this task, the SIAE collaborates with the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities and other public institutes (RIC, CPI) on further development of the system of national vocational qualifications. The main task of the SIAE is to train the commission members for verification and certification of the NVQs. We also provide basic training for commission members that need to get their licence and continuous advanced training programmes for commission members that already have their licences and work as active commission members.

In the advanced training programmes, we work with the members of the commission to improve their knowledge of adult education and strengthen their key competences for quality performance of tasks in the scope of NVQ verification and certification processes.
The SIAE also participates in coordination of public institutes at the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, which coordinates and plans systematic activities of public institutes in the field of NVQ verification and certification. We also participate in the work of commissions and groups that support the system (Permanent commission for appeals, Professional commission at National Coordination Point for SQF – EQF, etc.).
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
- Preparation of professional materials in accordance with the coordination agreement and instructions of the Ministry of Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities;
- Organisation and implementation of basic professional training for members of commissions for NVQ verification and certification;
- Development and implementation of programmes for constant professional improvement of members of commissions for NVQ verification and certification.
