AIM
The project aims to strengthen general awareness of the importance of lifelong learning (LLL) and to contribute to greater adult participation in LLL. The goal is to enhance their skills for functioning in society and to reinforce their ability to respond to technological, demographic and climate changes in modern society.
The project will enable systematic, continuous and long-term awareness-raising of the importance of LLL. We will develop a creative and comprehensive campaign that will influence the perception of learning in Slovenia, deepen reflection on it and encourage participation in LLL.
The project will target all adults over the age of 16 and vulnerable groups.
OBJECTIVES
The main objectives of the project are:
- To strengthen the general awareness among all adults of the importance of learning;
- To establish new forms of coordinated events and methods for raising awareness, providing information and encouraging adults to participate in lifelong learning;
- To reinforce a positive attitude towards lifelong learning, which brings progress on personal, social and professional levels;
- To contribute to increasing the recognition and reputation of lifelong learning;
- To enhance cooperation between adult education providers and other stakeholders at national and local levels.
PLANNED ACHIEVEMENTS
The project aims to accomplish the following achievements
- Establishment of a regional network of coordinators (12 coordinators);
- The organisation of 50 new events to raise awareness about the importance of lifelong learning;
- Creation of a new website, lahko.si, which will provide up-to-date information on lifelong learning, inspiring stories, interviews with experts, an interactive programme search tool and a comprehensive offering of the LLL programmes in Slovenia;
- A 14-day nationwide media campaign each year of the project’s duration (once or twice a year);
- Establishment of a new social media profile, lahko.si, aimed at the target group of all adults.
