Collection and publication of information and current news from the field of assessment, evaluation and recognition of non-formal and informal knowledge in one place.
OBJECTIVES
- To collect and post information from the field of assessment, evaluation and recognition of non-formal and informal knowledge in one place;
- To ensure access to the information to the professional public and individuals.
DESCRIPTION
The portal Validation of Prior Learning of Adults was developed as part of the EFS project Literacy development and assessment and recognition of non-formal learning 2011–2014 and has been maintained and updated as part of the current ESF project Expert support for the guidance and orientation activities and evaluation of non-formal education 2016–2021.

The content of the portal primarily aims to offer information on the field to the wider professional public and others as well as to provide support to educational organisations with counselling and evaluation of knowledge of employees and other stakeholders, companies, worker unions, policy makers, etc.
ACTIVITIES
Maintenance of the web portal and regular posting of activities from the field of assessment, evaluation and recognition of non-formal and informal knowledge (events, legislation, professional materials, etc.).
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
Establishment of the web portal for the field of assessment, evaluation and recognition of non-formal and informal knowledge and making the current content available to the wider professional public and individuals.
