The sixth PIAAC International Conference 2020

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, the Italian Agency for Active Labour Market Policies (ANPAL) and the Italian Institute for Public Policy Analysis (INAPP), are organising the 6th PIAAC (Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies) International Conference.

The Conference will be held in Rome on 28-29 January 2020.

The purpose of the sixth PIAAC International Conference is to promote the use of PIAAC data to help address relevant policy issues.

The conference is attended by three colleagues from the Slovenian Institute for Adult Education, who will be interested in what stage the second cycle of the PIAAC research is in, especially the methodology and conditions of participation. Slovenia will not participate in this round, but we hope to join in  later. The conference also represents an opportunity to share experience. Our representatives will be interested in presentations on how other countries use the data they have obtained with the Education & skills online assessment. We are developing and introducing this instrument for the individual assessment of adult skills in Slovenia as well. You can find more about this process  in the SIAE Newsletter.
