The Slovenian version of the Manifesto for Adult Learning in the 21st Century
In February, the EAEA released an updated version of the Manifesto for Adult Learning in the 21st Century: The Power and Joy of Learning, and now there is also a Slovenian translation (see also the leaflet in Slovenian).
A comparison with the 2016 version suggests that the power and joy of adult learning continue to increase.
The EAEA and its members in the publication draw attention to the challenges in adult education, which are reflected in eight key areas: active citizenship, democracy; Health and well-being; Life skills for individuals; Social cohesion, equity and equality; Employment and work; Digitalization; Migration and demographic change; Sustainability. We have enriched all these challenges with Slovenian examples: we present research, examples from practice and experiences of participants gathered by the Slovenian Institute for Adult Education.
