The SIAE celebrates its 30th anniversary

The Slovenian Institute for Adult Education (SIAE) was founded on 27 September in 1991. The opening ceremony was held on 24 January in 1992. This year the SIAE celebrates 30 years of its achievements and developments in adult education in Slovenia and abroad.

Our fundamental mission is to contribute to the accessibility and quality of education and learning for all inhabitants of Slovenia according to the principles of freedom of choice and equal opportunities.

On this occasion, we publish the addresses of the directress of the SIAE, Dr Nataša Potočnik, and the first director of the SIAE, Dr Zoran Jelenc.
