This is confirmed by our network of more than 250 participants at the Slovenian Annual Adult Education Conference (<a href=\"https:\/\/web.acs.si\/lp2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"tooltips \" title=\"\">AAEC)<\/span><\/a> that dealt with the whirlwinds of change on 19 and 20 November 2019 in Portoro\u017e.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bThe first whirlwind is that of basic competences. The findings from the\u00a0<span class=\"tooltips \" title=\"\">PIAAC<\/span>\u00a0survey are frightening and serve as the basis for numerous projects and programmes for the improvement of basic skills. We focused on this topic\u2014sometimes more and sometimes less vigorously\u2014throughout the\u00a0<span class=\"tooltips \" title=\"\">AAEC<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a
