{"id":30942,"date":"2019-05-13T10:00:16","date_gmt":"2019-05-13T09:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.acs.si\/?p=30942"},"modified":"2019-06-12T09:07:38","modified_gmt":"2019-06-12T08:07:38","slug":"the-slovenian-version-of-the-manifesto-for-adult-learning-in-the-21st-century","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.acs.si\/en\/aktualno\/novice\/the-slovenian-version-of-the-manifesto-for-adult-learning-in-the-21st-century\/","title":{"rendered":"The Slovenian version of the Manifesto for Adult Learning in the 21st Century"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; admin_label=&#8221;Section&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.22.3&#8243;][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;3.22.3&#8243;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.22.3&#8243;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.22.7&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>In February, the EAEA released an updated version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/eaea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/eaea_manifesto_final_web-.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Manifesto for Adult Learning in the 21st Century: The Power and Joy of Learning<\/a>, and now there is also a <a href=\"https:\/\/arhiv.acs.si\/publikacije\/Manifest_za_ucenje_odraslih_v_21_stoletju-2019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Slovenian translation<\/a>\u00a0(see also the <a href=\"https:\/\/arhiv.acs.si\/drobni_tisk\/Manifest_za_ucenje_odraslih_v_21_stoletju-2019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">leaflet in Slovenian<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>A comparison with the <a href=\"https:\/\/eaea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/bw_manifesto_full_sl_nomarks.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2016 version<\/a> suggests that the power and joy of adult learning continue to increase.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;3.22.3&#8243;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;2_3&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.22.3&#8243;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.22.7&#8243; text_font=&#8221;||||||||&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>The EAEA and its members in the publication draw attention to the challenges in adult education, which are reflected in eight key areas: active citizenship, democracy; Health and well-being; Life skills for individuals; Social cohesion, equity and equality; Employment and work; Digitalization; Migration and demographic change; Sustainability. We have enriched all these challenges with Slovenian examples: we present research, examples from practice and experiences of participants gathered by the Slovenian Institute for Adult
