Library
The library performs library and documentation services for SIAE staff and external users. The library houses around 9,000 books and receives around 80 serial publications, which makes the SIAE Library one of Slovenia’s medium-sized specialist libraries.
At SIAE's library one can borrow, read or make photocopies of various materials (books, magazines, sound and video tracks) on:
- adult education in various countries,
- basic notions, theories and principles of adult education,
- policies, financing, reforms,
- organisation of adult education: syllabi, staff, learning methods, teaching methodology, learning aids, etc.,
- effective ways of learning,
- folk high-schools and similar (educational) institutions,
- adult education of special target groups: the elderly, women, the unemployed, people with lower literacy skills, adults with special needs,
- vocational education and training,
- higher education,
- education and training in enterprises and other organisations.
The library material is catalogued in the Co-operative Online Bibliographic System and Services.
The SIAE Library is open to visitors on Wednesday and Friday mornings (10 am–12 pm) and on Monday and Thursday afternoons (2–4 pm).
